Physical activity is not just important for good health, it is essential.
Moving more and taking part in regular physical activity can help us to maintain our wellbeing at work.
Did you know?
The healthy living age (the age you can expect to reach before experiencing health issues) across the North East is:
- 62.9 years for men
- 63.3 years for women
Yet in the North East 64% of people will retire at the age of 65-69. This means we could spend at least 6 years dealing with health issues whilst working and living with them in retirement.
Most people wait for a health scare before starting to take better care of themselves. No one likes to think about what could go wrong, but given the average person spends 84,365 hours at work, which equates to around a third of our lives we must prioritise our health at work!
We want to help you, help your workforce.
