Stress management at work matters….
…because effectively handling stress is essential for maintaining both our physical and mental health. Chronic stress can lead to burnout, decreased productivity, can negatively impact on job satisfaction and our overall wellbeing. By prioritising stress management in the workplace, we can help to develop healthier coping mechanisms, improved resilience, and foster a better work life balance.
Stress, depression, and anxiety disorders accounted for 49% of all work related ill health and estimated 17.1 million lost days at work. This means each person suffering took 19.6 days off work (HSE).
In this module we are going to look at managing stress and how it affects us on a daily basis, especially when we are at work.
